The Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences is recruiting adults (aged 30-70 years) with high cholesterol to participate in a soy muffin nutrition study.
After a screening process, the study involves eating muffins made from soy or wheat flour for six weeks and providing blood and body measurements at weeks 0, 3 and 6. Study visits will take place on campus at the Human Nutraceutical Research Unit.
Financial compensation is provided. This study has received clearance from the University of Guelph Human Research Ethics Board [REB #NV11035].
